This thesis aims to accomplish an exemplary dokumentation, intended for the plaster object of the electoral castel of Mainz. In respect of a subsequet treatment, the main emphasis is laid on the cor-rosion of iron inlais, the reduction of iron staining and the bondig of plaster fragments.
