Abstract: This dissertation shows a concept to restore and conserve a historical tower. The tower was in use to observe. The tower was as a part of the regiment “Feliks Dzierzynski” from the former German Democratic Republique.
To conserve the authentic state of this tower the dissertation reflects the possibilities to restore this tower. The tower mostly consists of ferroconcrete. This dissertation includes a lot of information about the material ferroconcrete and it shows the development of an alternative mortar to conserve the ferroconcrete. This alternate mortar shall compensate defects parts of the concrete reinforcement. This dissertation shows different tests. It was tested mortar with some synthetics and different compositions of water and cement.
