Zusammenfassung: | The original individual panels of the Bennobogen (1604 Frauenkirche Munich were joint to a composite in the 19th century, partly overpainted, and faced severe climatic fluctuations. This lead to damage of the paintlayer, open joints, and cracking fissuration. Hence the paint layers pasted with a facing had to be consolidated and the glutin glue layer had to be removed, which was applied as an additional protective step. As a result the bound surface dirt was also eliminated. The voids in the paintlayer can be closed using normal and point retouching. The panelcomposite was stabilized with wooden replenishments and a special frame which enables transport, storage, and presentation. |
