Zusammenfassung: | This work observes the usual celluloseethers, which are used for the consolidation of polychrome layers on paintings and polychrome wood objects. Especially on their microbial resistance and absorption of water at high humidity. Six cellulose ethers with different viscosity grades are used in favor of the series of tests. During the first series of tests, the absorption of water of the celluloseethers at two different humidity grades are examined. Clear results could not be reached by the carried out set up. The microbial resistance is determined throughout a comparison of three fungi on a single cellulose ether. All celluloseether show a microbial growth. At Klucel® G and Klucel® E was identified the lowest and at Tylose® MH 1000 P2 the strongest growth potential. |
